I do love a good piece of art, and 19-year-old Savannah Burgess is a serious artist. The young artiste mainly creates animal drawings, recording her progress in stages as she goes along.
Her work includes a truly amazing drawing, called “Before Winter,” which shows the noble Houses of the Game of Thrones series (which of course are all the rage at the moment). She has also drawn the animals of the Chinese Zodiac as well a brilliant football mascot mural for her grandfather.
Clearly a massive talent, Savannah is one of the best young artists I’ve seen online. Fingers crossed we’ll be seeing more of her work on our screens soon.
Here is the start of her Zodiac drawing…
Then she adds the tiger
Looking fierce so far
Welcome to the party monkey
The Zodiac piece looks absolutely amazing
She starts her next Game of Thrones inspired piece
House Stark, whose symbol is the direwolf, joins the fray along with the rose of House Tyrell
The Mother of Dragon’s children enter
The completed Game of Thrones drawing features Houses: Lannister, Stark, Baratheon, Tyrell, Targaryen, Martell, Greyjoy, and Arryn
Here is the start of her football mascot drawing…
You wouldn’t want to bump into that rooster in a dark alley
That alligator sure wants the ball
The tiger looks so damn good
The finished piece for her grandfather is called “Fall is Coming”
Seeing as you’re such big fans of her now, here is her drawing of Norman Bates
The slightly weird (but brilliantly drawn) Norman Bates profile aside, I absolutely fell in love with these drawings. Ornate, detailed and aesthetically gorgeous, Savannah Burgess has some serious talent which is clearly evident from her portfolio.
